FIDO2 WebAuthn authentication is now available on MacOS, which enables secure passwordless authentication using hardware security keys, biometrics or platform authenticators during remote RDP sessions. See Authenticating With WebAuthn for more information.

The RDP experience on MacOS was upgraded for improved usability and convenience including the ability to resize without initiating a reconnect flow. The updated FreeRDP version now supports auto-resize. See Desktop Size and Auto Expand for more information.
