Version Information

This release note covers version information for this release. In addition, see the following:

  • Supported Versions: Lists the release date and end of support dates for each release.

  • Server Suite Product Component Versions: Lists which versions are included in each Server Suite release.

  • DB2 Plugin Compatibility: Lists which DB2 plugins are compatible with each version of Server Suite DirectControl, and which DB2 versions are supported for each plugin.

  • Adbindproxy Compatibility: Lists which adbindproxy versions are compatible with each version of Server Suite DirectControl, and which Samba versions are supported for each adbindproxy version.

Note 1: Starting with Release 2020, we require the OS patch level update 8 or above on Solaris 10.

Note 2: Smart Card doesn’t work on Ubuntu Linux 24.04 with this release due to a GNOME bug (#7562).

Additional Information

Follow each OS vendor's recommendation to update the necessary patches. Here are the minimum patch requirements for the specific UNIX platforms (CS-45562):

Perl requirement for adbindproxy: To use adbindproxy, Perl version 5.8 or greater is required. This requirement applies to all platforms except Flatcar. For more information about adbindproxy and how it is used in Server Suite, see Introduction to Samba and Adbindproxy .

Supported Windows Platforms

The following 64-bit Windows platforms are supported on Delinea Server Suite:

  • Windows 10 LTSB/LTSC (Note 1)
  • Windows 11 LTSB/LTSC
  • Windows Server 2016
  • Windows Server 2019 LTSC
  • Windows Server 2022 LTSC
  • Windows Server 2025

Notes:

  1. We support Windows 10 Long Term Servicing Channel (LTSC), previously called Long Term Servicing Branch (LTSB), editions based on Microsoft's lifecycle factsheet.   2. Only the Privilege Elevation Service component of Server Suite Agent for Windows supports these platforms (Core and Minimum Server Interface).

  3. Server Suite requires specific versions of .NET to work. See Supported .NET Versions.

Notice of Termination of Support

This is the last release for which we support the following operating system platforms:

  • Windows 10
  • HP-UX 11.31 IA64
  • Ubuntu 24.10
  • Fedora 41

Starting with this release, we no longer support these platforms:

  • Alpine Linux 3.17 and 3.18

  • Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

  • Fedora 40
