DB2 Plugin Compatibility
This section describes which DB2 plugins are compatible with each version of Server Suite DirectControl, and which DB2 versions are supported for each plugin.

Each plugin requires a minimum agent version matching its own release. Older plugins are backward compatible with newer agents. A newer plugin version is not compatible with an older agent.

Plugin 6.1.0 (June 2024) is the latest release. No further updates have been made because no changes or enhancements have been needed. The plugin is still required for SSO. Group-based access control is supported through
db2.group.zone_enabled. Native OSAUTHDB is limited to zone-enabled AD groups and local groups only. -
6.0.0 lifecycle dates calculated per Delinea Support Policy: 36-month core support, 5-year extended support from release date.

DB2 v10.5 reached end of plugin support with 6.1.0. 6.0.0 was the second-to-last release for that version.

Versions 5.7.0 and 5.8.0 are past end of core support.
Supported Operating Systems by Plugin Version
The DB2 plugin OS support mirrors the Server Suite agent OS support for the corresponding release. The OS version in use determines which agent version is supported, which in turn determines which DB2 plugin versions are compatible.

Backward compatibility: An older plugin version is compatible with a newer agent. A newer plugin version is not compatible with an older agent.

The DB2 plugin is only supported on the OS platforms listed above (RHEL, SUSE, AIX, Solaris). Other platforms supported by the Server Suite agent (Ubuntu, Debian, Alpine, Oracle Linux, etc.) are not supported for the DB2 plugin.

RHEL 6 and 7 are not supported in the 2025 agent. Systems running RHEL 6 or 7 are limited to the 2024 agent with plugin 6.1.0 (or earlier).

SUSE 12 is not supported in the 2025 agent. Systems running SUSE 12 are limited to the 2024 agent.

AIX 7.1 was dropped in the 2024 agent. Systems running AIX 7.1 are limited to plugin 6.0.0 / agent 2023.
