About HSM

A Hardware Security Module (HSM) is a physical device that is used to protect and manage digital keys for robust authentication and cryptographic processing. HSMs are designed to securely generate, store, and manage the cryptographic keys that are used in encryption and decryption processes. These devices are primarily used in environments where security is of utmost importance, as they provide additional assurance that the key material is not exposed to unauthorized entities.

The integrations are using a physical Hardware Security Module (HSM) to protect cryptographic keys in an on-premise or hybrid environment.
