Verification

This topic provides steps to verify that the integration of Torq with Privilege Manager works.

1. Trigger a test event from Privilege Manager by running an application on a managed endpoint that matches the conditions of your elevation policy. This triggers an approval request event.

2. After triggering a test request event from a managed endpoint in Privilege Manager, check the Torq Event Log:

   1. Navigate to Build > Workflows and open your approval workflow.

   2. Check the Execution Log to verify that the approval request event was received, and the corresponding workflow was triggered.

3. Verify the approval flow:

   1. Confirm that the approval or denial response from Torq is received by Privilege Manager.

   2. Verify that the appropriate action is taken on the endpoint (the application is elevated or blocked based on the approval decision).
