Troubleshooting

This topic provides information to help you resolve potential issues that you might encounter when using the integration of Torq with Privilege Manager.

Issue Resolution
Webhook is not firing In Privilege Manager, verify the webhook is enabled under Admin > Configuration > Messaging. Ensure that Webhook Event is set to Approval Request Event.
Authentication errors Confirm that the user credential (Account Name and Password) in Privilege Manager matches the authentication header name and secret set on the Torq webhook integration. Re-enter and save the credential if necessary.
Torq is not receiving events Verify that the Request URL (the Torq invoke URL) is correct and accessible from the Privilege Manager server. Test network connectivity to the endpoint.
Approval response is not received
  • Verify that the workflow is published (not just saved). Once the workflow is published, it will run in the production environment based on the trigger event. Unpublished workflows will not execute.

  • Check the Activity Log at Monitor > Activity Log for workflow execution status.

  • Check the Run Log for step-level failures.

Policy is not triggering Ensure that the elevation policy is set to Active and the correct approval action is assigned in the Actions section.
