Configuring Delinea Platform

To configure Delinea Platform for the integration with Terraform:

Step 1: Create a service user the Delinea Platform

The integration requires a service user in the Delinea Platform to create, fetch, or update secrets for use in Terraform. If you don't have a service user, you can create one. For detailed information about creating a service user, see Service Users in the Delinea Platform documentation.

The service user credentials will be used to log in your Delinea Platform instance to create, fetch, or update secrets for use in Terraform.

Step 2: Assign Roles and Permissions

The service user must have a role with the View Launcher Password and View Secret permissions in Delinea Platform.
