Integrating Symantec Management Platform with Privilege Manager

The integration between Privilege Manager and Symantec Management Platform (SMP) aims to enhance the security of privileged access management and streamline administrative tasks. By integrating with SMP, organizations can extend these capabilities to the SMP platform, enabling centralized management and control over privileged accounts.

The integration allows organizations to enforce secure access controls and password management for privileged accounts managed within SMP. Privilege Manager can help enforce password complexity policies, rotation schedules, and secure storage of privileged account credentials.

Integration will:

• Import of computers for use in computer groups and identifying systems that exist on the network, but don't have an endpoint agent installed yet.

• Import of existing Resource Collections from SMP and use them for Privilege Manager policy targets.

• Inventory of SMP Software Packages to use the package contents in Privilege Manager Application Control policies.
