Prerequisites

Before integrating StrongDM with Secret Server, ensure the following requirements are met:

  • StrongDM account with Administrator permission level (Enterprise plan).

  • A healthy StrongDM gateway or relay able to reach the Secret Server or Delinea Platform endpoint.

For Secret Server On-Premises and Secret Server Cloud:

  • A Secret Server user account with Application Account set to Yes and View Secret permission on the target secrets.

  • The Secret Server base URL of your Secret Server instance.

  • The ID of the secret to retrieve.

For Secret Server on the Delinea Platform:

  • A Delinea Platform tenant with Admin permissions.

  • The Delinea Platform base URL of your Platform tenant.

  • The ID of the secret to retrieve.
