Prerequisites

• Install a full Splunk Enterprise instance on a local machine. For the installation instructions, see the Splunk Enterprise documentation.

  You can install a Splunk Enterprise instance on the same machine where Secret Server is installed or on a different machine, but the Splunk Enterprise instance and the Secret Server instance must be on the same network and be accessible by each other.

• Install Secret Server On-Premises. For the installation instructions, see the Secret Server documentation.

Currently, the integration with Splunk Enterprise is available only for Secret Server On-Premises.
