Prerequisites
Before setting up the Privilege Manager Slack Approval Bot, make sure the following requirements are in place.

| Docker Desktop | Required to run the bot container. Download Docker Desktop. |
| Slack workspace | You must have Workspace Admin or App Manager permissions to create and install the Slack app. |
| Privilege Manager | You must have the Privilege Manager Administrator role to create an API client. |
The bot runs as a Docker container. It does not require a public HTTPS endpoint — it connects outbound to Slack using Socket Mode.
