Prerequisites

Before integrating PAS with ServiceNow please remember the following requirements for each product :

ServiceNow Integration with PAS works with Cloud Suite and/or Server Suite installed. If both are installed, make sure that they have a common PAS url.

  • Service Now Requirements

    • You must have a supported ServiceNow instance with Vancouver or higher ServiceNow version. Please refer to compatibility matrix.

  • Privileged Access Service (PAS) Requirements

    • You need a valid user account with the System Administrator role in PAS.

    • Required directories must be associated with PAS.

  • Cloud Suite Requirements

    • You must have a Cloud Suite instance installed and configured.

    • Privilege Elevation Commands/Command Sets must be pre-configured in PAS to raise a request in ServiceNow for Privilege Elevation Commands.

    • Roles must be pre-configured in PAS to raise a request in ServiceNow for Role Access.

  • Server Suite Requirements

    • You must have a Server Suite instance installed and configured.

    • Zone Roles must be pre-configured in PAS to raise a request in ServiceNow for Zone Role Workflow.

    • User Permission must be pre-configured in PAS to raise a request in ServiceNow for Privileged Access Request.
