Integrating ServiceNow RPC with Secret Server

Remote Password Changing (RPC) allows for automatic changing of remote account passwords when a secret expires, either immediately or on a defined schedule. The new passwords' strengths and other qualities can be fully configured. For a complete list of available password changers, please refer to the Password Changer List.

Prerequisites

Ensure that you have all required accounts before starting the configuration:

• Valid ServiceNow administrator account

• Valid ServiceNow user account

If you use ServiceNow password changers with the Distributed Engine, version 8.4.32.0 or newer is required.
