Verifying the Integration

To validate Windows Local Account for PAS follow the instructions below.

Ensure your passwords do not contain HTML or partial HTML tags like <abc> or </>. Otherwise, PAS will consider such passwords as possible XSS threats.
Since the Xanadu update, Delinea has been introduced as the Credential Storage Vault for managing credentials. Previously, selecting None as the Credential Storage Vault worked without any issues. However, starting with the Xanadu update, choosing None will lead to an "Invalid IP Specified" error. Additionally, the MID Server agent logs will indicate that the vaultProvider is null.
To avoid these problems, please ensure that Delinea is selected as the Credential Storage Vault for all MID Server integrations.

The following are the supported credential types:

  • Windows

  • JDBC

  • SSH

  • SSH PrivateKey

  • Active Directory
