Prerequisites
Before configuring Delinea Privileged Access Service, make sure you have:
PAS:

Ensure PAS is accessible via HTTP/HTTPS from the MID Server.

Valid user account exists with the System Administrator role in PAS.

Required directories must be associated with PAS.
MID Server:

Ensure that the MID Server has the required access to the Delinea Platform over HTTP/HTTPS.

Java 11 or higher is on each MID Server host. No need to install Java separately as recent ServiceNow MID Servers already come with a built-in Java (Eclipse Temurin 11 or 17, depending on ServiceNow release version).
ServiceNow:

A compatible ServiceNow instance. For details about supported MID Server Credential Resolver versions and which ServiceNow releases are compatible with it, see ServiceNow Release Integration Matrix.
The following plugins are available and must be activated on the ServiceNow instance:

External Credential Storage Plugin: Enables ServiceNow to securely store and resolve credentials from Secret Server.

Discovery Plugin: Enables ServiceNow to perform discovery operations on network infrastructure and resolve credentials using MidServer.

MID Server

Ensure that the MID Server has the required access to Secret Server over HTTP/HTTPS.

Delinea MidServer Setup Utility Requirements:

For Windows: Standard GUI environment (no special requirements for UI mode).

For Linux: Active graphical display session (X11 or Wayland) with
DISPLAYenvironment variable set if using UI mode. For headless Linux environments, use the command-line utility instead (see Manually Running the Delinea MidServer Utility for Secret Server).
