Create an Incident in ServiceNow Instance

Create an incident in ServiceNow instance by accessing the Incidents menu.

  1. Create an incident in ServiceNow instance by accessing the Incidents menu.

  2. In the browser type the URL mentioned in the My Instance section and press Enter. The login page of the Servicenow Service Management displays.

    User Name

  3. In the User name text box, type the user name.

  4. In the Password text box, type the password.

  5. Click Login and the Self Service dashboard displays.

  6. On the left side of the screen, click the Incidents menu and the Incidents page displays.

    Create Incident

  7. Click New and the Create Incident page displays.

    Urgency

  8. From the Urgency list, select the type of urgency.

  9. In the More information text box, describe the issue.

  10. Click Submit to create the incident.
