Credential test succeeds, but commands fail

This may occur if credential caching has not refreshed.

Fix: Set vault.module.cache.expire = 1 to sync every minute.

Credentials are not updating after rotation

By default, XSOAR syncs cached credentials every 10 minutes.

Solution:

  • Go to About > Troubleshooting > Server Configuration

  • Set vault.module.cache.expire = 1

Credentials do not appear in the dropdown

This occurs when Fetch Credentials was not completed.

Ensure you performed:

  • Instance → Fetch Credentials

  • Enter Secret IDs

  • Save & Exit

  • Reopen instance and select Switch to Credentials.
