Integrating XSOAR with Secret Server

The integration between XSOAR and Secret Server allows secure privileges for service, application, root, and administrator accounts across the enterprise. The updated package provides the following benefits:

  • It provides a secret with the required fields for subsequent authentication.
  • It provides methods for working with the object’s Secret, (for example, create, update, search, delete, check-in/check-out).
  • It provides methods for working with the object’s Folder, (for example, create, update, search, and delete).
  • It provides methods for working with the object’s Users (for example, create, update, search, delete).
  • It can fetch updated data from the secret for usage in the owner’s automated process.
Palo Alto Networks' integration between XSOAR and Secret Server supports the XSOAR and XSIAM automation platforms. Users can configure XSOAR automation within the platform, while the engineering team at Palo Alto Networks exclusively develops XSIAM data collection (SIEM) integrations using a different mechanism. In response to a customer request, the team created a custom XSIAM collector integration for Delinea, now part of a broader content pack, explaining the reference to XSIAM content within the pack. If you need assistance with the XSIAM collector integration, please reach out to Palo Alto Networks support, as they develop and maintain that content.
