Integrating OneLogin with the Delinea Platform
OneLogin acts as a central authentication source. The users that are created or modified in OneLogin can be automatically provisioned (added/updated) in the Delinea Platform, eliminating the need for manual configuration. The Delinea Platform currently supports two authentication protocols: Open ID Connect (OIDC) and Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML). An external federated identity provider can be configured on the platform to use either protocol, depending on what the provider supports and on what you want to do. The Delinea Platform integrates with OneLogin via SAML and OIDC using a federation service. When a user tries to log in, the platform will check the domain name of the user ID. If the domain is configured for an external federated IDP, the login data is passed to OneLogin, and the user is authenticated and logged in.
