Integrating Power Automate with Secret Server

Power Automate is a cloud-based service that allows users to create automated workflows and business processes. It lets you define triggers, conditions, actions, and connectors to automate various tasks and processes across applications and systems. With the integration, you can retrieve credentials stored in the Secret Server directly from your Power Automate workflows. You can also automate the process of rotating passwords or other credentials used in your workflows, ensuring that access remains secure and up to date.

The integration supports both Secret Server Cloud and Secret Server On-Premises.

Use Cases

The integration supports the following use cases:

• Retrieves a secret from Secret Server into Power Automate by using the secret ID.

• Establishes a remote desktop (RDP) connection to a remote computer by automatically inserting the credentials from a retrieved secret into the Remote Desktop Connection dialog in Windows.
