Rotating Passwords of Delinea Managed Accounts from the Microsoft Defender for Identity Console
If a compromise is suspected for accounts tagged as “Managed Account (Delinea)”, you can trigger a password reset from the Microsoft Defender for Identity interface. Once triggered, the Secret Server will initiate a password rotation for the associated account. When the rotation is successfully completed, a notification is sent back to Microsoft Defender for Identity via the integration.
In case of a successful reset password operation, you will see a confirmation message on the screen.
To confirm password rotation, you can view the Logs tab in the Delinea Secret Server integration with Microsoft Defender for Identity. Also, the logs are available on the Audit tab on a Secret and/or Audit Events tab in the Delinea Platform.
