Integrating Entra ID API with the Delinea Platform

The Entra ID API Integration allows the Delinea Platform to connect directly to Microsoft Entra ID using Microsoft APIs, enabling centralized authentication and identity management without manual synchronization. Through this integration, users can log in to the Delinea Platform using Entra ID credentials, while administrators can browse and search Entra ID users and security groups, use Entra ID security groups directly within the platform, and pre-assign users to roles, identity policies, and secret sharing. User lifecycle changes such as deactivation or deletion in Entra ID are automatically reflected in the platform, and access can be further controlled using group allowlists and conditional access policies. The platform supports scalable environments by returning paginated results when managing large user and group sets. Integration can be implemented using either a Delinea-managed Entra ID application for simplified setup and maintenance, or a customer-managed application for organizations that require full control over Azure resources. Once configured, the integration provides a seamless, secure, and streamlined user management experience fully aligned with Entra ID.
