Troubleshooting
Check the following items:
Credentials

Re-enter the credentials for the application account (Secret Server) or service user (Platform).

Ensure the username and password are not misspelled.
Server URL

Verify the URL points to the correct Secret Server or Platform instance.

Validate that the URL has no typos.
Examples:

Secret Server Cloud: https://mycompany.secretservercloud.com
-
Secret Server On-Prem: https://ssvr.example.com

Platform: https://tenant.delinea.app

Permissions
Verify that the account has the required permissions:
For Secret Server

View Secret
-
List
-
(Optional) View Launcher Password
-
Role assigned correctly
-
Secret or folder shared with the account
For Delinea Platform

View Secrets
-
List Secrets
-
Service User enabled
-
Permission assigned at folder/secret level
Authentication
-
Confirm the application account/service user is active.
-
Ensure the password has not expired (if Secret Server).
-
Ensure MFA is not required (Secret Server application accounts cannot use MFA).
