Prerequisites

The integration of Keyfactor Command with Secret Server requires that the following prerequisites be met:

  • Install the Secret Server software on a web server in the same forest as the Keyfactor server.

    • For the requirements for the Secret Server software and the installation instructions, see Prerequisites and Installation in the Secret Server Documentation.

    • Keyfactor does not recommend installing the Delinea software on the Keyfactor server.

    • Keyfactor comes with preinstalled Delinea dependencies to enable seamless interoperability with Delinea Secret Server, eliminating the need for any configuration on the Keyfactor server.

  • Add the PAM definition for Secret Server to Keyfactor. For more information, see Keyfactor's Delinea Secret Server PAM Provider documentation.
  • Configure the Keyfactor Platform to use Secret Server as a PAM provider. For more information, see Keyfactor's Delinea Secret Server PAM Provider documentation.

  • This integration works only with the following versions of Keyfactor Command:

    • 10.4.5

    • 10.4.0

    • 10.2.1

    • 10.1.1

    • 10.0.0
