Integrating Google Authenticator with DevOps Secret Vault

The AuthGCP functionality in Delinea's DevOps Secrets Vault allows users to authenticate and access secrets using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) service accounts. By leveraging GCP service accounts, Delinea provides a secure and convenient method for accessing secrets within GCP environments. Delinea supports service account-based authentication, allowing users to authenticate and access secrets using GCP service accounts associated with their Google Cloud projects. This integration leverages the GCP security model and eliminates the need for separate username/password credentials in Delinea.

DSV encrypts the password in the configuration for successful authentication. This prevents users from accidentally disclosing the password by sending the configuration to someone or giving another person access to the computer.
