Step 6: Active Directory Integration
Active Directory integration allows users to log in with their AD credentials and enables automated user management through group synchronization. This integration streamlines authentication and helps maintain consistent access control across your organization.
To integrate Active Directory with Secret Server, follow these steps in order:
Setting up Active Directory
Configure Active Directory - set up your AD domain connection and synchronization settings. See Configuring Active Directory
Enabling Active Directory Users
Enable AD Users - add individual users or synchronize entire groups. See Enabling and Disabling Active Directory Users
Managing Active Directory Users
Configure Automatic User Management - set up rules to automatically enable or disable users based on their AD status. See Active Directory Automatic User Management.
