Discovery Analysis

After discovery has been configured, the Analysis tab shows high level discovery statistics, including when it last ran and what the process has discovered. The chart indicates which items are managed or unmanaged. A managed item has a secret associated with it. Unmanaged items can be discovered on the network but have not been imported into the vault.

Procedure

1. Click the Discovery feature from the left-side menu.

2. The Analysis tab loads automatically. A graphical summary of your discovery activity appears:

   

3. Click on an item count link to open the network view tab filtered to only show those items.

   Click in the Discovery scan results table to be redirected to the Computer Scan Results tab.
