Pinning Folders
You can pin a folder, limiting the folder tree to showing the contents of that pinned folder. Applying filters to the table in one pinned folder will not affect others, and settings are remembered upon returning to that pinned folder.
Pinning Folders
To pin a folder:
-
Click >> on the Secrets menu item to view the Secret Folder-Tree Panel.
-
Drill down and click the folder you wish to pin. We chose the Playground folder.
-
Right click the folder and select Pin. The chosen folder appears alone on the panel with a thumbtack icon next to it:
-
Now, when click the folder dropdown list at the top you have a choice of pinned folders to choose from. All Secrets is permanently pinned.
Unpinning Folders
- Click >> on the Secrets menu item to view the Secret Folder-Tree Panel.
- Select the folder in the folders dropdown list. The panel shows only that pinned folder.
- Click the thumbtack icon and select Unpin.
Custom Naming Pinned Folders
You do not have to use the default name of the top folder as the pin's name. To change it:
-
Click >> on the Secrets menu item to view the Secret Folder-Tree Panel.
-
Select the folder in the folders dropdown list. The panel shows only that pinned folder.
-
Click the thumbtack icon and select Rename. A Rename Pin popup appears:
-
Type the new name in the Pin Name text box.
-
Click the Save button. The Folder dropdown list now displays a different name than the top folder in the pin (we chose My Playground):
