Enabling Specific OU Domain Discovery

1. On the Admin menu click Discovery. The Discovery Sources tab appears:

   

2. Click the link for the discovery source you want to configure. The Discovery Source tab for that discovery source appears:

   

3. Click the Edit link next to the discovery source name. The page becomes editable:

   

4. Click to select the Discover Specific OU check box.

   

5. Click the Save button. The Domain Scope tab appears.

6. Select the Domain Scope tab. Click the Edit link next to Domain Scope. The page becomes editable:

   

7. Type the name of the desired OU in the Search for OUs text box. Matching OUs appear. Click the + to add the OU or - to remove an OU. When done, click Save.

   

8. The selected OUs appear in the Selected OUs list above:

   

9. Click the site link to edit the site (distributed engines) included. The Discovery for items in this OU will be processed by this site.

10. Click the credential secret link to edit the secret that should be used when scanning items within this OU.

11. Click the scan target link to edit what type of items should be discovered within this OU.

12. Repeat the previous steps for any additional OUs.

13. Click the Save button.
