Integrating Slack with Secret Server

You can integrate Secret Server with Slack to manage notifications and workflows directly within Slack. This allows you to handle approval requests, receive notifications for recently used secrets, and launch secrets.

This integration supports Secret Server Cloud and Secret Server On-Premises, providing a consistent and seamless experience across deployment environments.

Use Cases

This integration supports the following use cases:

Create, view, and cancel your requests for access to secrets in Secret Server.
Approve or deny secret access requests from other users.
Search for secrets, go to secrets in Secret Server, and launch secrets directly from Slack by using different secret launchers in Secret Server.

Upgrading to the Delinea Platform requires no additional setup. As long as you used the same Secret Server URL when upgrading to the Delinea Platform, your existing Slack with Secret Server integration will continue to function properly.
