Note on Scope: When reporting on conformance with the WCAG 2.x Success Criteria, they are scoped for full pages, complete processes, and accessibility-supported ways of using technology as documented in the WCAG 2.0 Conformance Requirements. The WCAG 2.1 Success Criteria extend WCAG 2.0 and so incorporate the previous version of WCAG 2.0; this same incorporation/extension will apply in the future to WCAG 2.2 once 2.2. enters normative W3C Recommendation status.
Delinea Note about WCAG Versions: We anticipate WCAG 2.2 entering normative W3C Recommendation status in April 2023 and becoming a normative industry standard, which would affect criteria going forward in future VPATs or future updates. WCAG 2.2 does not deprecate or supersede WCAG 2.1. However, we foresee a period of time when Delinea will use WCAG 2.1 and be simultaneously working in criteria from WCAG 2.2 once version 2.2 reaches W3C Recommendation status.
