Product Relationships and Reports

This document is for the web-based desktop/laptop Delinea Platform and does not include any mobile applications. As of time of this writing, Secret Server and Privilege Manager stand-alone products have their own separate accessibility conformance reports.

Known Issues

Session Recording: No audio description is provided with session recording, however session activities and timestamps can be analyzed by the system and summarized in text form.

Remote Access: After a user opens a remote session, the accessibility of that system’s interface is not controlled by the Delinea Platform and cannot be predicted. Some reports of portions of the initial MFA login screen for remote access not accessible to keyboard and keyboard-plus-screen reader combinations. Further investigation is needed.

Workarounds

Workaround for Keyboard and Detail Panel in User Reports (Secrets-User Audit): The details panel is outside of the data table. We are improving this experience for keyboard users, but in the meantime, use ESC to navigate away from the data table, and then use Tab to navigate to the details panel.

Workaround for Navigation Menu: The main navigation is coded as a submenu. The focus order therefore seems to “skip” from the start of the menu to the “expand/collapse navigation pane” button to enable people to expand/collapse the pane to better focus on their main tasks; using arrow keys from the start of the menu instead of Tab however will ensure that the navigation items can be navigated via keyboard. A keyboard “Skip to” function is in the application as well. The keys are considered within standard keyboard functionality range, even if order is not expected, and the order/fix is in planning stages. Submenu navigation often uses arrow keys. Be aware of this when using keyboard navigation. This applies to the “Skip to” function as it has a couple of choices: to close the “Skip to” function submenu, use ESC. To navigate within the submenu, use arrow keys and Enter/Return to make your choice.

Evaluation Methods Used

Testing was done by individuals with knowledge of the product functionality, with consultation provided by product managers who are experts in the product functionality. Both manual and automated testing methods were used.

Manual testing included: manual keyboard testing on both Mac and Windows operating systems; manual testing using NVDA screen reader and using JAWS for Windows screen reader for triangulation.

Testing of random screens involving common tasks was done in MacOS Ventura using VoiceOver.

Automated testing included: automated testing in linter processes and testing frameworks against WCAG 2.1 Success Criteria. Axe-core by Deque rulesets were used as well as tools such as the WebAIM Color Contrast Checker tool.
