Using URL Lists

URL Lists are a secret template field type that allow you to restrict the sites you can launch a secret to. Launching is only allowed to the exact URLs on the list and their matching subpaths.You can add a URL List field to any secret template while editing the template in Secret Server.

You can assign URL List fields directly to the URL mapping field without configuring Use Restrictions. If you configure an Allow List for launching, only a URL List field can be used as the restriction source.

If your Allow List includes multiple URLs, launching a secret is only allowed for those sites and their matching subpaths. Launch attempts to any other URL are blocked.
