Deleting Folders

Deleting a folder does not remove or deactivate secrets. When you delete a folder, it and its subfolders are deleted, and any secrets are moved to the parent folder. If the parent folder no longer exists, the secrets move to the main leve of your Folders tab. Deleting a folder is permanent and cannot be undone.

Secrets retain custom permissions when their folder is deleted, but also inherit permissions from their new parent folder.

To delete a folder:

1. From the folder tab, select the folder you want to delete.

2. Click the more options symbol and select Delete Folder.

3. Click Delete on the pop-up to confirm you want to delete the folder.
